REQUIREMENTS: Recognized National Diploma (NQF 6) in Education/Administration or equivalent rating. 2-3 years of experience in examination services / Teaching and learning environment/ related field. Knowledge of the White Paper on PSET, CET Law, Knowledge of the Public TVET sector and its regulations and legislative framework. Knowledge and understanding of the Higher Education sector. Knowledge and understanding of the COLTECH system, TVETMIS. Knowledge of national and provincial policy frameworks relevant to Education, Training and Development. Knowledge of the Skills Development Act, Regulation of the Public Function and Law of the Public Function, Law of Labor Relations. Advanced skills in administration, planning and organization, finance Management, Report Writing, Communication, Problem Solving, Analysis,
Customer Orientation, Project Management, Team Leadership and People management. Must have computer skills in Office packages (Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet), a valid driver’s license is essential as intensive travel is inherent to the position.

DUTIES: Coordinate internal and external exam evaluation services. Coordinate and conduct training for Watchmen, Markers and Data Capturers. Facilitate the Review and Irregularities Committee for the campus and serve as a secretary. Application processing and issuance of certificates. Send Marked and moderation reports to DHET. Coordinate submission of scripts for moderation to DHET/UMALUSI. Provide administrative support to theexam unit. Supervise staff.
