SALARY: R388 974 – R450 939 per annum (plus benefits (OSD). CENTER : Mamelodi Regional Hospital
REQUIREMENTS: Superior national certificate with basic qualification R425, diploma/degree in nursing equivalent qualification that allows registration in the SANC as a nursing professional. Valid enrollment in SANC. A post-basic degree with a duration of at least one year accredited by SANC in the specialty of traumatology. A minimum of 4 years of appropriate recognized nursing experience after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing.
DUTIES: Perform both clinical and administrative duties as required by requested SANC. Provide effective and professional leadership in clinical management to ensure clinical responsibility and quality patient care, provide a safe therapeutic environment that allows the practice of safe nursing care as established in the nursing law, the occupational health and safety law and all other applicable precepts. Demonstrate effective communication with patients, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals professionals and junior colleagues, including writing complex reports as required. Show concern for patients, promoting, advocating and facilitating appropriate treatment and care and ensuring that the unit adheres to the Batho Pele principles. Develop and implement a quality assurance program, policies, plan, standard operating procedures and guidelines for the unit. improve quality care through the reduction of patient complaints and waiting time. Promote the quality of nursing care as indicated by the professional scope of practice and the standard as determined by the institution and other regulatory bodies.
