SALON ASSISTANT/CLEANER required for salon in Gardens.
Purpose of the work:
It is the role of the Salon Assistant to maintain a clean and hygienic salon environment and support the Franchisee, Front Desk Coordinator, and Citizens in offering the best possible guest experience to patrons visiting the store.
Work Responsibilities:
1. Daily:
o Clean floors (Sweeping and Mopping).
o Dust and clean merchandising display shelves and stock.
o Ongoing: cleaning of the kitchen (dishes, glasses, and cutlery).
o Ongoing: clean salon. Ensure there is hand wash, air freshener & towels available for guests
o Ongoing: Clean washing to ensure there are enough towels and bedding for trade.
o Ongoing: Fold and pack towels and consumables.
o Ongoing: Emptying all bins at the front desk & in treatment rooms, nail stations & kitchen.
o Wipe down light switches and plug points.
o Wipe down any dirt on walls and mirrors.
o Assist with running errands
o Offer guest refreshments (tea, coffee, water).
2. Weekly:
o Clean windows and doors
o Check that there are enough supplies (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bottled water, toilet paper, washing powder, softer and dishwashing liquid, bleach)
o Tidy and pack stock cupboard with the help of the FDC.
o Wipe down treatment trolleys and stock items in treatment rooms.
o Wipe down all equipment in treatment rooms.
o Pack and Tidy merchandising drawers.
