JOB DECRIPTION
To drive to various farms on a daily basis and perform dry-cleaning duties in various chicken houses according to standard operating procedures. Will be on the road 80% – 90% of the time and expected to travel alone and perform the dry-cleaning of the chicken houses, independently.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
Code 10 licence with PDP.
Experience in dry-cleaning of chicken houses required.
Understanding of the lay-out of chicken houses is required.
Some form of mechanical ability is required.
Will engage with GFC Contract Growers on the farms, therefore the Ability communicate in Afrikaans is essential.
Good client interaction skills with both internal/ external customers.
A willingness to work overtime, incl. Saturdays & Sundays.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Travel to various farms on a daily basis to perform dry-cleaning duties of the chicken houses.
Required to follow laid-down Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) when performing the dry-cleaning from start to finish.
Dry-cleaning will be performed after the catching of all the chickens in the houses.
Completion of the required documentation including the pre-dry-cleaning checklist, to ensure the machine to be used is ready as per SOP.
Responsible for securing the chicken house after the dry-cleaning to restrict unauthorized access.
Ensure the machine is filled up with diesel at the end of shift, in preparation for the next day.
May be required to perform basic mechanical repairs where necessary.
Any other duties as may be required by management.
